- Q: How can I take a snapshot of the screen?
The simplest way is to press the command key-Shift 3. A PICT file named Picture 1 is created on the startup disk. The file can be opened by any application that can read PICT files, for example SimpleText or ClarisWorks.

Choose Print in the usual way. Under the destination option, select File and click Save. A dialog appears containing some options you can set for the EPS file. Select one of the EPS formats from the Format pop-up menu in this dialog. Once you give it a name, an EPS file is created on your hard drive that you can then take into another application.
- Graphics in Claris Works. Be sure to set the line spacing to 1 li; otherwise the inserted figure will take up too much space.
- In True BASIC 2.7, its possible to copy the output window in the usual way if you are in text mode. However if you are graphics mode, text is stored as bit map. As an example, se page 43 of the text. Omit the CLEAR statement if you want to copy the output as text.
