Course Description and topics:

A laboratory based modern mechanics course for science majors. This is a newly redesigned course to include hands-on activities, computer-rich laboratories, group problem-solving and an interactive environment. Two two-hour integrated lecture/discussion/laboratory session per week. Topics include measurements, mechanics, laws of motion, rotational motion, chaos, fluid mechanics.
