Post-Doctoral Research Associate Position at Clark University

A post-doctoral research associate position is open in the Complex Matter and Nonlinear Physics Research Laboratory at Clark University in Worcester, Massachusetts. The focus of the research will be on grain-fluid interactions and granular transport in porous medium using particle image velocimetry, and optical and x-ray tomography. The successful candidate will collaborate with an interdisciplinary group working on fundamental physical problems related to soft matter. Applications are invited from those motivated in doing experiments with complex fluids and granular matter. A Ph.D. in physics, chemical engineering or related fields is required and prior research experience with fluids and granular matter is desired. The initial appointment will be for one year, which can be renewed based on progress and continued availability of funds. Please contact Arshad Kudrolli for further information on the position. Interested applicants should email their CV, research statement, and contact information for three references to akudrolli@clarku.edu.
