            Granville Ohio   My Dear Mother
                                                       Enclosed find Sather & Church Sight Dft on New York for One Hundred & Fifty Dollars, out of which pay Mary a nice Dress a good one I promised her for her correspondence. (or anything she may choose.) have nothing from you for some two or three weeks. all well at Pacheco and business doing better I know you will scold about this short letter but to day is Steamer day and a busy one. all mails go by Steamer once a week each way. My best love to all. hope Aunt is much better by this time and that you are all well write often
